About National Medical Association Region II
The National Medical Association (NMA) is the oldest and largest non-profit professional, educational, and scientific organization in the United States representing African American physicians and the millions of multi-ethnic patients they serve.
The organizational structure of the NMA provides an established national network of affiliated community-based organizations with a powerful reach within African American communities across the nation. The state and local societies are segmented into six geographic NMA regions, each represented by a Region Chair.
Region II of the NMA consists of the affiliated state and local societies of Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
